The final days of HBO Max are upon us, as the revamped streaming service, Max. At an event earlier this month, Warner Bros. Discovery highlights several new titles coming to the Max service, which integrates the HBO Max and Discovery Plus libraries. Here’s a complete list of said shows and movies, from the new installment in Fixer Upper to the new Harry Potter series. Some releases, like the SmartLess documentary series that follows the podcast crew, will be available when Max launches in the US on May 23.

Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Knight of the Fence

Max is the home of HBO, so it’s not leaving Game of Thrones behind. An April event revealed that HBO has given a series order for the GoT prequel A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight. The series is set 100 years before the events of Game of Thrones, when “two unlikely heroes roam Westeros…a naive but brave young knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his little squire Egg,” according to his description. .

“Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and the memory of the last dragon is not yet out of living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous feats all await these unlikely and matchless friends,” he says.

Harry Potter live series

Harry Potter fans will be able to invest in a new multi-season show on Max. “Over the course of the next decade…we will once again enter the wonderful world of Harry Potter as a multi-season live-action series for the first time,” said Casey Bloys, Chairman and Chief Content Officer of HBO and HBO Max. The original Max series will adapt the first seven Harry Potter books and new cast.

A first look at The Penguin and more

  • The April event brought a first look at the previously announced series The Penguin, starring Colin Farrell as Matt Reeves from The Batman. The spin-off will consist of eight episodes and premiere in 2024.
  • A drama series set in the Conjuring universe is in development.
  • A comedy series spin-off of The Big Bang Theory is in development.
  • Previously announced sitcom How to Be a Bookie is coming to Max. It will reportedly reunite Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre.
  • More stuff is already on our radar: DC shows Creatures Commando, Waller, Booster Gold, Lanterns, and Paradise Lost. Drama series Welcome to Derry, prequel to 2017’s It and 2019’s It Chapter Two, premieres in 2024.
  • Many of the projects initially developed for Discovery Plus will now be Max assets, according to Bloys. Among them are Shaun White: The Last Run and Downey’s Dream Cars, featuring Robert Downey Jr..
  • SmartLess: On the Road just dropped a trailer for a new documentary series that follows actors and friends Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes during the popular podcast’s North American tour. Max hits May 23rd.
  • The food competition series Ciao House, which premiered on the Food Network, will be on Max.
  • Survive the Raft, a reality show from the Discovery Channel, hits Max in July.
  • The missing woman from Interstate 20 will reach Max in the year 2023. The true crime series features Octavia Spencer.
  • Rick and Morty: The Anime will debut on Max with Adult Swim in 2023.
